Amid the severe transportation crisis affecting the country, a bus was stoned on the afternoon of Thursday, January 23, in Havana, following a heated argument between the driver and a group of students.
The incident, which took place on bus 8445 assigned to route P-11, resulted in the arrest of one of the individuals involved, according to witness reports and a post on the profile of Facebook Real-Time Route Report.
According to this source, the bus picked up passengers at its starting point as usual. However, during the journey, a group of students had a dispute with the driver.
The situation escalated when, after a U-turn towards the station of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR), one of the young men threw a stone that struck the front of the vehicle.
