One person died and two others were injured following a "heated" dispute inside a home in Hialeah, Florida. The incident occurred on Wednesday night at a residence located at 3905 W 10 Court, in the community of Mango Hill, when an argument among several men escalated into a confrontation involving both knives and firearms.
According to the preliminary investigation by the authorities, a group of people was gathered in the residence when a verbal dispute broke out. During the course of the argument, one of the individuals armed himself with a knife and attacked a 50-year-old man. His son, a 16-year-old teenager, attempted to intervene and suffered multiple cuts on his arms.
When the aggressor was attempting to leave the house, another person present took a firearm and shot him, resulting in his death at the entrance of the home, where traces of blood were visible.
The injured teenager was transferred to Nicklaus Children's Hospital and is in stable condition, while his father remains hospitalized at Jackson Memorial in critical condition.

Yeika Olivier Castro, a resident, recounted in statements to Local10 and CBS Miami that upon hearing the shot, she left her house and saw a person running. “I heard a shot, opened the door, and when I went out, a man was running.
