A small plane crashed this Sunday in a residential area of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States, resulting in a preliminary count of five people injured.

The airplane, described as a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza A36TC from 1981, took off from Lancaster airport just before 3:30 PM this Sunday and was headed to Springfield Beckley Municipal Airport in Ohio, according to data provided by NBC Philadelphia.

The five people aboard the ship sustained injuries in the accident. According to authorities, they were transferred to local hospitals for treatment, and their current condition has not yet been disclosed.

At the end of January, another plane crashed near a shopping center in the northeastern part of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, with six people on board, including a sick child.

The initial reports indicated that the accident occurred near Cottman Avenue and Roosevelt Boulevard, in a residential area that caught fire after the aircraft impacted.
