Until now, no injuries have been reported.

Last Tuesday, a fire was reported around 11 PM in an apartment in the complex located at the intersection of 11th and L streets, in El Vedado, also in Plaza de la Revolución.

Despite the shocking flames, which were visible from a considerable distance, there were no injuries in the incident.

Additionally, the fire department of Cuba managed to control a fire reported in the interior of the Amadeo Roldán Theater in Havana, apparently caused by vandalism in El Vedado.

These fires add to others of various natures that have occurred in different areas of the country in recent weeks.

Among the most serious incidents is the one that occurred on March 15 in Playa de Cunagua, in the municipality of Bolivia, Ciego de Ávila, which destroyed 20 vacation homes and 189 temporary beach structures, mostly built with highly flammable materials such as guano and wood.

Fortunately, those properties were unoccupied at the time of the incident. In this case, according to sources from the government, the fire originated from a wood-burning stove that had been left on, quickly spreading to the thatched roof of a neighboring house.
