In response, several users who claim to know the affected individual confirmed that the young man underwent surgery and is now in a hospital room, showing favorable progress.

"He has already undergone surgery and is out of danger, thank God," wrote user Maidelin Ferrera, while Daimarelis López, who identified herself as the young man's partner, stated: "I am his wife, he is improving, thank God."

Another user, Carlos Yohander Núñez Carón, also noted that Yoleidis had already been moved to a room, which indicates that he was successfully treated.

For her part, an internet user identified as Crhystal Verttlysh claimed that the incident occurred on 15th Street in Agüero, and that both individuals involved in the fight worked at a venue known as "El Patio," located next to the Frank País polyclinic.

Most comments agreed in denouncing the worrying increase in violence that affects not only Santiago de Cuba, but the entire country, as well as the regime's inaction, which continues to provide no effective responses to a reality that is increasingly alarming for citizens.

Numerous violent incidents are constantly reported through social media platforms. For example, a member of the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) sustained serious injuries in a violent attack that occurred on Thursday, May 29, on the boulevard of Camagüey.

The incident, described as "reprehensible" by the Ministry of the Interior (MININT), was perpetrated by an individual armed with a knife, who attacked the officer from behind.

"The individual, who was apprehended shortly thereafter, was wandering around the area consuming alcoholic beverages," said the agency on its Facebook page.

Also regarding security, and following a series of violent episodes in her immediate vicinity, including thefts, assaults, and a police response that borders on indifference, Cuban broadcaster Laritza Camacho recently hit the nail on the head and questioned the myth of public tranquility in Cuba: violence is becoming normalized, while the population loses faith in justice.
