A Cuban resident in the United States shared on TikTok his visit to a busy flea market in Kentucky, which he describes as “one of the largest” in the state. The market is located at 165 Dawson Dr, Shepherdsville, KY 40165, at exit 116 of Freeway 65, as he explained in several responses to comments.

“We're at one of the largest flea markets in the city of Kentucky,” said the young man as he pointed out a vast open-air selling area. “All of that you see over there is the flea market. But beyond that starts the fair,” he added while walking around the site with his mother, sister, and niece. “They were selling plants here, and in Cuba, plants are free,” he joked with a laugh while comparing prices.

During his tour, he emphasized that many products were priced between one and three dollars: “Perfumes, hats, shoes, toys, plates, vases… everything here is cheap. You will always find something expensive, but most things are very affordable.” He also demonstrated how they offered puppies for free adoption: “While others sell them for a fortune, these people wanted those little dogs to have a home.”

The post generated an avalanche of comments. Hundreds of users inquired about the exact address, with repeated phrases like "Where is that?", "Give the address", or "What is that place called?". The creator responded several times that the market operates on Saturdays and Sundays, and is located near an Amazon center.

In the second part of the video, the Cuban showed more items for sale: “Everything for less than two dollars. Obviously, many people say ‘no, that’s not new,’ but it’s not old either, darling. I wear it,” he said while checking out shoes and clothing. “There were plates, spoons, frying pans, even a blender for two dollars.”

He also explained how the place works: “Here at the market, it’s like a yard sale. Many people bring things from their homes that they no longer use and sell them here.” He jokingly added about his family: “My sister was really happy because she found a fuzzy chicken,” and mentioned that “the men were looking for car parts while we were on our own searching for clothes.”

The video was well received by users, who appreciated the content, the author's sense of humor, and requested more installments. One commenter noted that they felt represented coming from the countryside, while others celebrated expressions such as the sound of the "hairy hen" or asked to know "which days there are sales outside." The creator hinted that a third part will soon be published from inside the flea market warehouse.
