According to reporter , agents from the Technical Investigations Department (DTI) arrived at the scene to examine the graffiti, document it, and proceed to erase it immediately.

The phrase is considered "subversive" by the authorities, who have sentenced several authors of graffiti against the regime to multiple years in prison.

Such actions have become more frequent in the eastern region of the country, amid growing social unrest due to the energy crisis, inflation, and political repression.

The incident occurs during one of the tensest moments for the Cuban government, which is facing silent protests, digital activism, and artistic expressions that seek to challenge the official narrative.

Last June, the phrase "Pinta tu pedacito" transitioned from being a satirical nod on social media to a genuine street protest trend in Cuba.

In various parts of the island, such as San Antonio de los Baños (Artemisa) and Caimito, new posters with messages directly rejecting the communist regime appeared, defying fear, surveillance, and repression.

In Havana, there appeared one that simply summarized popular discontent in the phrase "Raúl singao."
