The Cuban-American congressman Carlos Giménez issued a direct warning to travel agencies that maintain ties with the Cuban regime, stating that those who do business with sanctioned entities —including military companies and organizations linked to the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC)— “will face the full weight of United States law.”

Through a message shared on social media, Giménez stated: “We know that several of the major travel agencies to the island of #Cuba have direct ties to the dictatorship. Those who are doing business with sanctioned entities, including the military and the PCC, will face the full weight of U.S. law.”

Call to report

The legislator urged citizens to report any suspicious activities related to repressors or accomplices of the Cuban regime through the website www.represorescubanos.com.

Giménez has intensified his rhetoric in recent months against the businesses that strengthen the government of the island, emphasizing that U.S. law will be applied to all companies or individuals that cooperate with sanctioned entities.

Just two days ago, it was announced that a new list of repressors, henchmen, and front men of the Cuban regime will soon be submitted to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to identify those who have infiltrated the country.

Similarly, he issued a direct and strong warning to ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel, following the signing of a presidential memorandum by Donald Trump that prohibits tourism from the United States to Cuba and strengthens the economic embargo against the island.

"Appointed dictator, the measures from the United States are designed to ultimately destroy the murderous regime. This is just the tip of the iceberg. What awaits them!" he wrote on X, accompanying the message with the hashtags #PatriaYVida, #LibertadParaLosPresosPolíticos, and #SOSCuba.

More than a hundred infiltrators

According to recent reports from the Cuban exile community, at least 100 agents associated with the Castro regime have managed to settle in the United States in recent years, particularly in cities like Miami and Tampa. This situation has provoked strong backlash among victims of repression and human rights organizations.

Giménez, along with Congress members Mario Díaz-Balart and María Elvira Salazar, has demanded stronger actions against these individuals, urging immigration authorities to investigate and deport those who lied about their backgrounds when entering the U.S.
