Young man dies after stabbing in Las Tunas

A young man identified as Yanoski del Valle died on the night of this Tuesday in the municipality of Amancio, province of Las Tunas, after being the victim of a stabbing that occurred the previous night at a local café.

The incident, reported by the independent outlet Cubanet based on social media posts from the young man's acquaintances, took place in a café near the Tank, on La Carretera, a spot often visited by young people.

According to witnesses who anonymously reported the crime in the group Revolico Amancio, in the midst of confusion and darkness, Yanoski was stabbed, and although attempts were made to save his life, the wound proved fatal.

The authorities immediately arrested the alleged perpetrators, identified by the community.

The crime has shocked the town of Amancio, which remembers Yanoski as a noble, hardworking young man with a kind character.

One of the forum members commented that a month ago, the person responsible for Yanoski's death allegedly attacked several people with a machete, and although he was caught, he was released the same day.

Another internet user, confirming the rumor, stated that the prosecutor's office in Amancio is not fulfilling its role: "That same individual is already awaiting another sanction for also attacking another person with a machete, a sanction that apparently will never come, while his mother, who is believed to always be right, pays and bribes until they run out of money to continue covering up her son's misdeeds."
