According to their publication, in the early hours of September 6th, the eve of Yemayá Day, the lifeless body of a man was found at the intersection of Revillagigedo and Misión streets.

According to testimonies shared on social media, the deceased was known as "El Chino de Belén" or "El Nankuko," although his identity has not been confirmed.

Similarly, in the early hours of Sunday, the editorial team of CiberCuba received a message stating that the man was injured in a fight and that, after the attack, "the police took over an hour to arrive, and no one came to help him."

The source stated that the victim "could have arrived alive at the Tamayo Polyclinic, since it was close to the location."

"It's 2:30 a.m. and the corpse is still in the street," the message added.

The source claimed to have videos showing dozens of people around the scene, but after the request from the CiberCuba editorial team to access the material, there was no response.

Reactions to this event were swift. Several people commented on the post, blaming the regime for the climate of insecurity that Cuban society is currently experiencing, which is not confined to a single province but is a widespread issue across the entire country.

In the comments on the original post, no one disputed the fact or contradicted what had happened. However, the user Damian Fernández claimed that he knew a man with the nickname "El Nankuko" who "was murdered years ago," which could indicate a confusion regarding the victim's identity.

For her part, Oshuncita Malcria Empoderada stated that she lives nearby the scene of the events and reported that "Revillagigedo, Misión, and Esperanza are filled with drugs," pointing out that the authorities are aware of this reality but "do nothing."

The rise in violence and insecurity in various areas of Cuba continues to be manifested in brutal crimes, vandalistic attacks, and acts of extreme aggression against public transportation.

In Havana, new details about a particularly violent homicide have come to light that took place in the Zamora neighborhood, where a man was brutally murdered and his body was dumped near a garbage container, with the motive for the crime still undetermined.

The province of Granma has also been shaken by violence. In Bayamo, the police arrested the alleged perpetrators of a bicitaxero's death, whose body was found with multiple stab wounds.

According to reports, the attackers attempted to rob him of his belongings, which led to the murder.

In the province of Artemisa, authorities reported the discovery of a father and his son who were murdered inside a farm. Both bodies showed signs of violence, which heightened public concern over rural safety and the lack of a prompt response to emergency situations in areas farther from urban centers.

Meanwhile, attacks with stones on national trains continue. Two passenger trains were stoned in different areas of eastern Cuba, causing fear among travelers and damage to the carriages. Although no injuries were reported, these incidents highlight the decline in safety in railway transport.
