A 40-year-old Cuban was hospitalized this Monday in Uruguay after colliding with a car while leaving work at a poultry company in Paso de la Arena, Montevideo.

According to a report by Telemundo Uruguay, the man entered Camino Manuel Flores without noticing that a car was coming in the opposite direction and was struck. The motorcyclist, who did not have a Uruguayan driver's license, suffered a femur fracture and was taken to a local health center.

On its part, Telenoche reported that the collision was head-on and that the driver of the car was unharmed. The Scientific Police worked at the scene, and traffic was disrupted for several hours.
