The Cuban @elixir_karen1994 shared a new video in which she expresses her opinion on emigrating from the United States to Spain. Under the title "Emigrating from the United States to Spain," she offers three warnings aimed at those planning to take that step.

"Three things you should know if you're emigrating from the United States to Spain," he says at the beginning of the video. "If you're retiring, it means you've made all your money in the United States," he adds.

The creator states: “If you’re planning to buy a house, you need to know that in Spain, you never come out ahead.” She explains that “you will pay over 6% of the total house price to the government of that country,” in addition to other taxes, and insists that “don’t even think about purchasing directly from owner to owner; there are always companies involved.”

It also points out: "In Spain, there is no law that protects the owner" and describes a possible scenario: "One day you might go on vacation and when you return, your home is occupied. And guess what? You can't evict them because doing so is a serious crime." It adds that in that case, "in addition to being left on the street and having to rent another property, you will also have to pay the bills for those people."

Regarding the banking and tax system, he says: "Every bit of money you move through the bank, assuming you find a bank that will open an account for you without a salary in Spain and without working in Spain, they will charge you a very high percentage on all the money that goes through that account at the end of the year." He adds: "You have to file a tax return."

He concludes his message by asserting: "Spain is a system designed so that you never win, never grow, never have more than them, and live in communism." He warns: "If you plan to emigrate to Spain with all the money you saved in the USA, think twice because you could end up poor again and throw away all your hard work."

In the comments, @elixir_karen1994 herself responded to those questioning her experience: "Yes, I live in Spain." In another message, she clarified, "My videos are not about my personal experiences, but rather about the majority. I don't talk about my life here; I share general experiences for those who want to emigrate."

Reactions were varied. One user wrote: “Spain is a socialist mess.” Another commented: “The motherland is in complete decline.” It was also noted: “The country is overwhelmed by taxes. It’s a shame because it is a great country.”

There were those who criticized his posts: “Change the subject. Spain is very beautiful, peaceful. It’s not necessary to win, you just need to live without pressure” or “You should dedicate that same energy to telling us about your country.”

Some users provided nuances: "In the USA, there are similar laws that prevent you from removing someone who enters your home, except in some states," and "It's much harder to make money in Spain; it's beautiful and more laid-back, but it also has its challenges."

In a previous post, the influencer had asserted that living in Spain has become unsustainable for a migrant, pointing out that “rent costs a thousand euros” and “wages do not exceed 1,500”.

In another subsequent intervention, he stated that “currently it is completely crazy to emigrate from the United States to Spain” and questioned the idea that the quality of life in that country is as high as it is believed to be. “You will have to live in a room sharing an apartment with 4 or 5 people,” he said on that occasion.
