The U.S. President, Donald Trump, once again harshly criticized the portrayal of his image in the media, this time targeting Time magazine, which he accused of publishing a "really bad" photograph in its latest report.
"They made my hair disappear and placed a sort of miniature floating crown on my head. Very strange. I've never liked photos taken from below, but this is a terrible photo and deserves to be pointed out," Trump wrote on his Truth Social network.
While he said the article was "pretty good about me," he stated that the photo "could be the worst in history."
The president's comment comes right after Time released a cover story dedicated to the peace agreement that leads his second term, in which the release of Israeli hostages held in Gaza was achieved alongside a parallel release of Palestinian prisoners.
The magazine regarded the pact as a potential "distinctive achievement" of his current presidency.
Trump had already stirred controversy in March of this year by publicly demanding the removal of his presidential portrait from the Colorado State Capitol, describing the artwork as “deliberately distorted” and “perhaps the worst painting” he had ever seen of himself.
That portrait was created by the British artist Sarah A. Boardman, who also made the official portrait of Barack Obama for the same space.
The artist also depicted President Obama, and he looks wonderful, but the one above me is truly the worst. He must have lost his talent with age, Trump stated at the time.
