The Cuban Hashy YM, known on TikTok as @hashymm, reached out for help for her family in Cuba after they lost everything due to Hurricane Melissa, which struck the eastern part of the island on October 28.

In a video shared on her social media, Hashy tearfully recounted that her family has become homeless and is currently living in a place without a bathroom or basic living conditions, after the cyclone completely destroyed their home.

“Nothing is left, my family lost everything,” lamented the influencer, who traveled to Cuba to provide direct support. In her request for assistance, she did not specify in which province her family is located, nor did she reveal any of their identities.

Melissa left thousands of people affected and homes collapsed in several provinces of eastern Cuba, where many families are still evacuated or living in makeshift shelters, without sufficient assistance from the authorities.

During his journey, Hashy also reunited with his eldest daughter in Havana, whom he hadn't seen for several years, a moment he described as "the only relief" amidst the tragedy.

The young woman appealed to her followers for solidarity to help her family and other victims of the hurricane, which has left a profound impact on the eastern part of the country.
