A Cuban resident in South Florida shared on TikTok the amount of food she received for free at the Missionary Baptist Church, located at 4283 NW 167th St, Miami Gardens, 33055, where every Thursday at 2:00 p.m. a distribution of basic products for the community takes place.

In the video, the woman showcases a countertop and inside a large blue box the variety of products she received, including rice, beans, cereals, canned goods, beverages, sauces, juices, and bottled water, as well as items like peanut butter and pecans.

"For this reason, it's more or less what they provide there at the church where I mentioned that you have to go on Thursdays starting at 2 PM to sign up. Now I'm going to leave the address here so that you can get an idea of all the things they offer. Everything is up to date, nothing is expired, it's all really good. It's an enormous help for the whole household," the Cuban woman said while showing the food.

The video, posted by user @delreygreylis, has generated numerous comments of gratitude towards the religious institution for its support of families, especially newcomers and those facing economic difficulties.

In recent months, several churches in South Florida have intensified their food assistance programs for immigrants, retirees, and low-income families due to the rising cost of living in the Miami metropolitan area.

Help point address: Iglesia Bautista Misionera Inc. 4283 NW 167th St, Miami Gardens, FL 33055. Food distribution: Thursday, starting at 2:00 p.m.
