The Cuban singer La Diosa shared with her followers on Instagram the details of the recent health scare that led her to undergo an MRI, after several days of experiencing dizziness and loss of balance.

In a video posted on her social media, the artist explained that it all started with an ear infection caused by a bacteria that she said she had been carrying since Cuba.

"Hello, my loves. I appreciate all the comments because I know that many people were concerned. I posted a video undergoing a medical procedure, and I want to share what happened to me," La Diosa began by saying.

The singer recounted that she had the habit of inserting cotton swabs and small hooks into her ears to relieve the itching caused by the infection, which ultimately worsened her condition.

"I brought back a bacteria from Cuba; they sent me antibiotics, and many times I didn't complete the course correctly. That caused me severe infections. My ears itched a lot, and I would put things in them; the itching was unbearable," she confessed.

As the days went by, she began to experience severe dizziness, loss of balance, and even falls. "I would fall even when lying down. When I turned on my side, everything spun around," she recounted.

Worried about the symptoms, she sought medical help and, although she followed the antibiotic treatment correctly this time, the dizziness persisted.

Despite this, La Diosa managed to perform at her concert last weekend in Hialeah, although she admitted to experiencing two episodes of dizziness during the show.

“Thank God the MRI results came back fine. I have nothing in my head, I’m perfectly fine, but I did go through moments of anxiety. The doctor wanted to be sure and check more thoroughly,” the singer explained, visibly relieved.

The interpreter took the opportunity to send a message to her followers: “Don’t do what I did. It’s very wrong. They say you can’t touch your ears with your elbows, and this time I learned my lesson. I was really scared and I won’t do it again.”
