The south of Florida, United States, will experience changes in the weather pattern following a sunny and hot weekend, with high temperatures above the usual average for this time of year, according to the forecast from Telemundo 51.

A cold front that crossed the region on Monday morning brought rainfall and some storms with gusts reaching up to 30 mph in areas of the southwest and inland parts of the state.

Detailed forecast

Today: Isolated showers in the morning and scattered storms in the afternoon.

Maximum temperature: 83°F

Tuesday: Low: 67°F · High: 76°F

Wednesday: Minimum: 77°F · Maximum: 79°F

Although conditions have temporarily stabilized, another cold front is expected to arrive this afternoon, which could lead to new isolated showers, especially in areas near Lake Okeechobee and southern Florida sectors. This system will usher in cooler, drier air overnight.

In the coming hours, a significant drop in temperatures is expected, which will fall to the upper 50°F inland and the mid 60°F in coastal areas.

The rest of the week appears to be stable, with pleasant days and highs ranging from the mid to upper 70°F, and cool nights.

By the end of the week, another cold front could approach, although for now the chances of rain are low, concentrated on the eastern coast and the Atlantic.
