In the images, the young woman is seen walking down a street in a Cuban neighborhood, accompanied by family members, unaware that just seconds later, she would experience one of the most intense moments of her life.
Upon entering the house, the girl bursts into tears at the sight of her mother waiting for her. “Mom!” she cries despairingly before throwing herself into her arms, as they both embrace in a moment filled with tears, laughter, and contained emotion.
