A Cuban mother touched hundreds of users on TikTok after appearing unexpectedly at her son's birthday in Cuba, who couldn't believe his eyes upon seeing her in front of him again.
The video, shared by user @maxcys3, captures the exact moment the woman unexpectedly arrives at the family celebration on the island. "My son was expecting another surprise for his birthday, and I showed up; everyone was in shock," she wrote alongside the images of the emotional reunion.
The post has garnered thousands of reactions and comments filled with affection. In response to a follower, the creator explained that she is still waiting for other family members who do not have residency and have been unable to travel, which suggests that her return to Cuba occurred after she obtained the necessary documents to do so.
"Hopefully Marco, although he doesn't have residency, is waiting, just like the girl. It only reached me," she commented, revealing that part of her family is still unable to return to the country, waiting to obtain the documents that will allow them to travel.
In recent years, videos of reunions between Cuban families separated by migration have become common on social media, many featuring mothers who, after obtaining residency in the United States, manage to return to the island to reunite with their children.
