A Cuban woman currently living in Guyana couldn't hold back her tears when she opened a package sent by her mother from Cuba, a deeply emotional moment that has touched thousands of users on TikTok.

The video, posted by the user @yuyudecuba, shows the woman sitting on her bed, a mix of nerves and joy on her face, as she carefully unboxes the shipment that arrived from the Island.

Among the gifts were hair products, a handwritten letter from her mom, a craft made by a little girl who loves her very much, and a dress that she ended up hugging and smelling while in tears.

In the images, the woman wipes her face over and over, trying to hold back her emotions as she reads her mother's words, while the atmosphere is filled with nostalgia and love.

The most moving moment comes when, holding the dress in her hands, she brings it close to her face to smell it, as if trying to find a piece of home in the fragrance, that impossible embrace due to the distance.

The video has generated hundreds of comments from other Cubans who identify with his story.

"Only those who have had to leave their mother know how it feels," wrote one user. "That scent of Cuba, of a mother's love, is never forgotten," commented another.

Many Cuban emigrants experience similar scenes each time they receive a package from the Island, filled not only with items but also with memories, sacrifices, and feelings that cross the sea alongside them.
