The Cuban actress and presenter Maka, whose real name is María Karla Rivero, informed her followers on social media that her mother, the actress Coralita Veloz, suffered an accident two days ago in the Dominican Republic.
“Those were moments of fright, silence, and prayer... but thank God she is okay,” wrote Maka in a Facebook post accompanied by an image of her embracing her mother in Punta Cana.
The artist expressed her deep gratitude to her family, friends, and healthcare professionals who helped her mother during those critical moments. “Thanks to Dr. Caraballo and surgeon Adolfo Sesto for their love, promptness, and compassion,” she emphasized.
Maka did not specify what type of accident her mother suffered in Punta Cana, but she emphasized that this experience reminded her of the importance of family and faith. “Today we embrace life more strongly, with greater faith and deep gratitude.
