The Cuban creator Yuris Latina (@yuris_latina) celebrated the end of 2025 with news that has inspired thousands on TikTok: she managed to buy her first house in Spain entirely in cash, without mortgages or loans. In her video, published on December 31, the influencer showcased the house under renovation and shared how social media enabled her to fulfill one of her biggest dreams.
“I bought my first house in Spain, cash. No mortgages, I have no debts, I owe nothing to anyone. It is fully paid for,” she said excitedly while showing the interior of the property, which is still undergoing renovation. In the clip, she also revealed that her husband is a bricklayer, plumber, and electrician, something that—according to her—has allowed them to save quite a bit of money on labor costs.
The Cuban, who lives in a town called Cocentaina, explained that she achieved everything thanks to her work on social media, which she considers a powerful tool for generating income. “I didn't spend 100 thousand or 200 thousand. I bought my little house two years after being here in Spain. I achieved it thanks to social media, which have opened my mind and helped me fulfill this dream,” she confessed in the video, which has gathered hundreds of congratulatory comments.
Yuris took the opportunity to encourage other migrants to invest in themselves and make better use of the potential of the internet. “Invest in yourself, set goals. Social media changed my life; it wasn’t magic, it was action and perseverance. It’s time for you to take social media seriously. You have no idea how much money you can make with that phone you spend so much time wasting,” he reflected.
Her story quickly went viral, with dozens of followers celebrating her achievement and asking for more details on how she accomplished it. “Wow, congratulations and thank you for sharing,” “The dream of every immigrant,” and “More women like you,” are seen among the comments. In an optimistic tone, Yuris Latina closed the year by reminding everyone that success doesn’t come overnight, but through perseverance, discipline, and the determination to move forward.
