Cuban actress Coralita Veloz is continuing her recovery after suffering an accident in the Dominican Republic, as confirmed by her daughter, fellow actress and presenter María Karla Rivero Veloz (Maka), who has expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of love and support received in recent days.
Through her social media, Maka shared an emotional message addressed to the public who have been concerned about her mother's health.
"Thank you to everyone who has been concerned and has reached out wishing my mom a speedy recovery. She is improving little by little. The impact was strong and the bruises are large, but she is calm, stable, and very grateful for all the love. You can't imagine how comforting it is to feel so many people caring, praying, and sending positive energy. From the bottom of my heart, thank you," the text reads.
Coralita's daughter accompanied her words with a picture of her hugging her mother, and it was the internet users who wished her a swift recovery.
In a previous post, Maka shared that they experienced "moments of fear, silence, and prayer," but emphasized that "thank God, she is well." She also took the opportunity to thank the doctors who treated the renowned actress.
