The President of the United States, Donald Trump, surprised this weekend by promoting the documentary film Melania on his X account (formerly Twitter), dedicated to his wife and First Lady.
“Melania, the movie, is a must-see! Get your tickets today, they sell out fast,” Trump wrote alongside a photo of the couple taken by the photographer Regine Mahaux.
The documentary, directed by Brett Ratner and produced by Amazon MGM Studios and RatPac Documentary Films, provides unprecedented access to the twenty days leading up to the presidential inauguration of 2025, viewed from the perspective of Melania Trump.
The film showcases the preparations, private conversations, and family moments of the Trump family's return to the White House after four years away from Washington.
With a duration of 104 minutes, Melania combines intimate scenes with exclusive footage from the inauguration ceremonies and the presidential transition. According to the official synopsis, the film "explores the world of Melania Trump as she balances her family role and her influence within one of the most visible positions on the planet."
The movie will be released in theaters on January 30, 2026, and will be distributed globally by Prime Video.
On social media, the trailer has generated significant anticipation, particularly among the president's supporters, who highlight the elegance and poise of the First Lady in contrast to the media attention that often focuses on her husband.
The project reaffirms public interest in Melania Trump, who has established her presence as a symbol of style, discipline, and quiet power within her husband's new presidential term.
