The Cuban singer Alexander Delgado, from the duo Gente de Zona, shared with his followers that he underwent dental surgery. Through his Instagram stories, the artist showcased part of the process and explained that he was "happy and content" to be able to resolve an issue with some missing teeth at the back of his mouth.
People, I'm here at the dental clinic again. Today I'm having surgery. I'm happy and excited because I have a little issue with some teeth in the back that are missing, and today they're going to put them in,” commented the musician, who added with a laugh that he had "tremendous fear" before going into the procedure.
The Monarca highlighted the importance of taking care of one's smile and explained that he decided to undergo surgery to prevent future complications: “The smile is extremely important. I need to get the pieces put in back there because otherwise your tongue shifts there or you end up with gaps in the future, and I don't want that,” he said.
Hours later, the artist posted another story confirming that everything had gone well and thanked the specialists who treated him: “With God's favor, I'm already recovering from the first part. Everything was a success, thanks to the best in the world,” he wrote alongside an orange background image.
The leader of Gente de Zona, always active on social media, also took the opportunity to send a message of reassurance to his followers about the importance of dental health and maintaining a good smile. Although he did not provide further details about the procedure, he assured that he feels fine and is ready to continue with his professional commitments.
