He caught a "beautiful tilapia" and the comments went wild: "You can tell the fish lives in the Yuma."

Cuban content creator Joel Alejandro Martínez (@ale__martinez0817) surprised his followers on Instagram by showcasing the impressive moment he caught a huge tilapia using a bow and arrow, a method known as bowfishing.

In the video, filmed in one of Miami's typical canals, Martínez aims with precision, releases the arrow, and pulls a large fish out of the water. "What a beast, this is insane! Look at this tilapia," he exclaims excitedly as he displays his catch.

The clip, published just two days ago, has generated thousands of reactions and comments among Cubans inside and outside the Island, many of them joking about the size of the fish and the luxury of its surroundings: "It looks like the fish lives in the yuma," wrote one user.

Tilapia, although highly valued for its meat, is considered an invasive species in Florida, where it has easily adapted to urban canals and poses a threat to native species. Its fishing is permitted and, in fact, is promoted as a means of ecological control in the region.
