The Cuban influencer Flor de Cuba shared a message on her social media that quickly went viral among her followers. With her characteristic spontaneous tone, the creator spoke about what she considers a small but significant happiness: traveling in an Uber in Miami without the driver talking to her or bombarding her with personal questions or inquiries about Cuba.

“When I'm in an Uber in Miami and they don't talk to me, don't ask about the news, don't start complaining about Cuba, don't give me advice on how to manage my social media, don't ask me when I'm getting married, don't start talking about blackouts, the Castros, and flights... That's happiness”, the influencer wrote alongside a photo from the back seat of the car.

Shortly after, Flor expanded her comment with a video in which she confessed how uncomfortable it can be to be a public figure during such trips. “God bless the drivers who don’t talk. Can you imagine being a public figure and getting in a taxi multiple times, and they all ask you: ‘Are you that influencer?’, ‘What about your kids?’, ‘Did you apply for residency?’, ‘Is it true that you make that much on TikTok?’... the entire way. Oh my God! Drivers don’t have to talk,” she expressed, visibly exhausted.

The creator also took the opportunity to address the gossip and messages she receives about her personal life. "Another thing I don't like, and people who have my number are prohibited from doing, is forwarding me videos that talk about me. No one knows better what I say or what I do than I do. So, when they send me gossip, I tell them not to send me any more. I have many things to do; I don't have time to watch posts and news. I live with myself," she stated.

Her words generated a wave of support and empathy among her followers, many of whom highlighted the pressure that content creators face in their daily lives. With humor and sincerity, Flor de Cuba reconnected with her audience by expressing what many surely think.
