A Cuban woman had an emotional reunion with her child and the rest of her family in Cuba after two and a half years of separation. The moment, which took place at night, was shared on TikTok and has touched thousands of users on social media.

"After two and a half years of crying over videos of strangers reuniting, my day finally came. It was quite a challenge," wrote the woman alongside the video, published on the account @cubanita191.

The Cuban woman reported that just two days before the trip, she suffered an accident that caused her to sprain both ankles. “I could hardly walk,” she confessed. Despite the pain and physical challenges, she decided not to cancel the trip.

"I didn't give up; I decided to travel like this and achieved my long-dreamed reunion, with a shattered leg but a heart full of love," she expressed in the message accompanying the images.

The video captures the moment when he arrives at the family home and embraces his son amidst emotion and tears. The scene reflects a common reality among Cuban families, marked by emigration and long separations.

In the comments, many users shared messages of support and expressed that they identified with the story. Family reunions have become one of the most viral topics among the Cuban community both inside and outside the Island, where distance and personal sacrifices are part of the migratory experience.
