A video shared on TikTok by a Cuban woman who returned from Miami to reunite with her boyfriend in Cuba has gone viral, not so much for the excitement of the moment, but for the young man's curious reaction. The main character, known on social media as Muñequita (@ladurademiami1), arrived at the airport, where her partner was waiting for her, and recorded the reunion that sparked thousands of comments filled with laughter, sarcasm, and surprise.
In the clip, the young woman is seen getting out of the car with evident enthusiasm, running towards her boyfriend with open arms, while he greets her with a somewhat clumsy gesture, a quick hug, and flowers. "If he greets me like that, I'm turning back," was one of the phrases most repeated among users, who quickly shared the video with a humorous tone. “He almost waits for you at home,” commented another person, while someone else summarized with irony: “He’s overjoyed, he’s almost fainting from embarrassment.”
“Even I thought I had seen it wrong,” wrote a user, while another joked: “I was getting ready to cry and had to watch the video twice to believe it.” “That guy has run out of love,” commented someone, and a follower added with a laugh: “I think if you had sent him more money, he would have been happier.”
The comments continued to multiply: "How cold, my God," "That hug was drier than the poles," "I came straight to the comments because I knew something strange had happened," and "He almost runs away," were some of the most shared reactions.
In response to the flood of opinions, Muñequita herself decided to reply in a calm and humorous tone. “Oh, you are all so cruel, he was trembling with embarrassment, but he was happy,” she wrote in one of the comments. In another message, she added: “I don’t pay attention to negative comments; everyone experiences the moment in their own way.”
The video, which has already garnered thousands of views, has become one of the most viral reunions of the moment. Amid laughter, memes, and mixed reactions, Cubans once again demonstrated that on social media, no moment is too private or too serious to be turned into a topic of conversation.
