Mai Algarete (@mai_algarete), known on TikTok for showcasing her adventures in importing mobile homes from China and renting them out, surprised her followers by revealing the condition in which —she claims— a friend left one of her properties after two months of not paying rent.

In the video, the young woman takes a tour of the interior of the mobile home, pointing out the damages: scratched floors, paint spilled on the ground, walls that were not originally that color, and even names painted directly on the wall. "Look at what this did to me in two months," she says, clearly upset.

It also shows the ventilation system filled with dirt, stains on various surfaces, and areas that, according to his statement, were in good condition before being rented out. He even mentions that if he were to show the bathroom, “it would be worse,” implying that the conditions were far from ideal.

But what stands out the most is that it was not a stranger. As explained, they decided to rent to someone close, and the experience ended up being a disappointment. “Don't rent to friends or family, because no one appreciates anything,” is the direct warning they give.

Mai asserts that, in addition to not receiving the agreed payment, she was covering expenses such as water and electricity while the other person kept making excuses. In the end, she had to cut off the electricity because she could no longer bear the costs. "I pay for everything and they still say I’m not supporting them,” she remarks.

Now, in addition to regaining ownership, he will need to invest money in cleaning and repairs to restore it to good condition. "The least I could do was leave it clean," he says, wondering how much it will cost to fix the damages.
