The Cuban influencer Alex Otaola publicly demanded the immediate removal of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) from power and rejected any negotiations between Havana and Washington that are not aimed at the definitive withdrawal of the regime.

His statements were made following demonstrations held in Miami and other cities around the world to demand the end of the Cuban dictatorship and to urge the President of the United States, Donald Trump, to intervene in the crisis in Cuba.

The message arrives in an international context characterized by the escalating conflict in the Middle East, following Trump's order for an attack on Iran and the confirmation of the death of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, after a joint military operation by U.S. and Israeli forces.

"It is time for the Communist Party to leave power. And the only thing the U.S. administration needs to discuss with them is the day, the hour, and the manner of their departure. There can be no other type of negotiation," Otaola stated.

The communicator stated that he is not seeking reforms within the current Cuban political system. “We do not want to fix the socialist economy. We want to overthrow socialism,” he expressed.

He also added: “We do not want to preserve any of 'the conquests' according to the deceitful rhetoric of the Cuban dictatorship. We want to destroy the Communist Party. We want to incapacitate the Communist Party for the next 20 centuries.”

In his speech, he also rejected any ideological continuity of the left in a potential transition scenario on the island. "It will be a Cuba for everyone, but a Cuba for everyone where the left will have no place," he said.

Otaola argued that the country has experienced "67 years of lives turned to misery" and "67 years of destitution." Therefore, he does not believe that this regime deserves pity or negotiations of any kind.

Regarding the recent events in Iran, he stated: “There was no mercy for the Ayatollah, and there should be no mercy for Raúl Castro.”

He also sent a direct message to Washington: “It’s now or never, Mr. Trump. We want actions now, Secretary of State Marco Rubio. We want to be heard. We demand to be taken into account.”

The influencer insisted that he does not wish for “dialogues with the dictatorship” nor to “give the Cuban leaders a chance to escape.” He stated that those who have held power on the island “must pay for their crimes.”

"I’m not interested in seeing them in prison; I prefer to see them lying down," said Otaola about the fate that awaits Cuba's leaders.

For his part, the President of the United States has indicated that Secretary of State Marco Rubio is engaged in discussions with high-ranking officials in Cuba, amid the increasing political pressure on the regime.
