Flor de Cuba was back in the spotlight after sharing on a podcast how her fiancé quit his job to fully dedicate himself to his social media business. The Cuban creator explained that when they arrived in the United States, he was working in a warehouse and earning around 3 thousand dollars a month, while she was starting to make her way on TikTok Shop.

According to her account, the turning point came when she started generating over 15 thousand dollars a month in commissions. At that moment, she considered hiring someone to help her with editing and publishing content, offering about 100 dollars a day. However, she changed her mind: “Why would I hire a stranger when I can pay him the same and keep everything in the house?” she recalled.

This is how he decided to resign and officially join the project. Since then, he has been in charge of recording, editing, and publishing the videos, while she focuses on creating the videos and handling sales. Flor claims that by working together, they managed to triple their content production and the results started to soar.

The influencer even claimed that there were months when she earned up to 80 thousand dollars, and that currently she doesn't earn less than 30 thousand monthly thanks to TikTok. “It didn’t seem fair to me that I earned 80 thousand and he earned 3 thousand,” she commented while explaining why they now work under a commission scheme within the same family business.

During the conversation, she also left a statement that did not go unnoticed: “We are indeed living the American dream because we get up at 2 PM every day”. For her, success is not solely about money, but also about the freedom of time they have achieved. Additionally, the couple got engaged just a few weeks ago, solidifying both their romantic relationship and their business partnership.

As expected, the reactions came quickly. While some celebrate its story as an example of digital entrepreneurship, others question the figures and speak of exaggeration. The truth is that Flor de Cuba continues to generate conversation and proves that, amid admiration and skepticism, its business model does not leave anyone indifferent.
