The Cuban content creator Yilian, known on social media as @royal_yiv, has asked for community help to locate a cousin of hers who has been missing for four days after going fishing at sea.

In a video posted on her social media, the young woman explained that the missing Cuban is named Misael and went out to practice spearfishing in the area known as La Ortigosa, in Blanca Arena, Bahía Honda municipality, in the province of Artemisa.

Since then, he has not returned home, and there has been no news about his whereabouts. None of his fishing tools have been found.

The family fears that he may have suffered an accident at sea. According to the testimony released by the young woman, on the day he went fishing, there was a current heading toward the Gulf, which heightens the concern of his relatives about the possibility that he may have been swept out to sea.

"I ask everyone who sees this video and has family or acquaintances in that area to help me with any information about my cousin. The family is desperate," Yilian expressed in the message posted on social media.

The fisherman has three children and a wife who wait for him at home, along with his mother and other relatives who hold onto the hope of finding him safe and sound.

Relatives requested that anyone with information or who has seen something in the area contact the number +53 58460893.

The family also requested to share the message on social media to broaden the reach of the search and make it easier for any useful information to help locate the missing fisherman.
