The Cuban content creator identified as Maray published a viral video on Instagram in which she delivers a direct and emotional speech against the situation in Cuba, demanding concrete solutions and rejecting the official narrative of "resistance."

In less than 24 hours, the video amassed over 236,000 views, 28,000 likes, and more than 2,000 comments.

Maray presents herself as a university student, engineer, and young mother living in Cuba, and clarifies from the outset that she is not seeking followers or views.

"I make this video because I can't stand another lie. Because we need solutions, not theories," he states in the nearly two-minute clip recorded on the island.

The message from the young woman directly points to the contradictions that the Cuban people experience daily.

"Why should I accept that my salary as an engineer isn’t enough even for a carton of eggs?" she asks.

"I had to put my degree aside to put food on the table without electricity, without water, without food, without internet, without any connection, not even to make calls, living in the 21st century as if we were still in a primitive community."

Maray also questions the dependence on remittances and the resignation that the regime demands from Cubans: "I don't want them to come and talk to me about resistance; we Cubans are already experts in that. Experts in trying to make five people eat with a chicken thigh."

The young woman also asserts the right to think differently without being labeled as "counter-revolutionary" or "criminal," declaring herself "more Cuban and more revolutionary" than those who defend the regime in exchange for privileges.

The video arises during one of the most critical moments that Cuba is experiencing and is part of a growing trend of Cuban youth expressing their frustration on social media, particularly among women.

"Cuban youth is fading, their dreams are fading, their desire to grow is fading," warns Maray in her video, which concludes with a phrase that encapsulates her demand: "For a new and better version of my Cuba."
