A poster combining the symbol of the swastika and the word communism appeared on a building near the Tennis beach in Matanzas.
The image of the poster, and how it was later covered with paint by workers at the location, was shared on social media by journalist Mario J. Pentón.

In recent days, amidst a growing context of public discontent and protests, posters against the regime have proliferated throughout the island.
This Monday, journalist Yosmany Mayetareported that several anti-government slogans appeared painted on the walls of the town of El Cristo in Santiago de Cuba, in a new public display of rejection of the political system amid the crisis the island is experiencing.
The messages, written in red paint on walls near the Ayacucho cinema, include phrases like "Down with communism," "We want freedom," and "Homeland and life," phrases that have become symbols of protest against the Cuban political system in recent years.
Additionally, anti-government messages painted on the walls of the city of Bayamo and in the Havana neighborhoods of Santos Suárez and Palatino were reported on Saturday by activists and independent journalists, as part of a new series of clandestine protest actions occurring in various locations across Cuba.
