The Cuban content creator Amesito Te Quema (@amesito.tequema) shared a humorous video that reflects, through irony, one of the most everyday realities in Cuba: power outages.

The reel was recorded on Línea Street, in El Vedado. The young man was walking and makes a humorous prediction: “Can you imagine if the power goes out right now?”

Immediately afterward, count to three… and just as you finish, there is a blackout across the entire area. The scene concludes with the phrase: “POV: You are a psychic in Cuba.”

POV is the English acronym for the phrase "Point of View," which means "point of view." The video has garnered thousands of reactions and comments, many from users who relate to the predictions of the young Cuban.

"It doesn't matter what time you read this, if you are in Cuba you won't have electricity. Sincerely, the seer of the Electric Union (UNE)," wrote a follower.

Another person confirmed that the power outage in their home also coincided with the exact moment of the count. "I was watching the reel, and when it got to 3, the lights went out in my house."

Humor once again serves as an escape route amid the energy crisis that troubles millions of Cubans.
