Uncertainty and silence surround a man of alleged Cuban origin who is currently hospitalized in Veracruz, with no contact made yet with his family.

Mexican authorities have issued an urgent call to locate their loved ones, in an effort to restore identity and connection in the midst of a critical situation.

According to the Veracruz State Search Commission, the man was found on March 27th and taken to a hospital, where he remains under medical care without having been officially identified.

The department released details about his physical characteristics in hopes that someone might recognize him. He is described as a man with light brown skin, brown eyes, and brown hair, which is said to be long and curly. Based on the available evidence, he may be of Cuban descent.

So far, no details have been released regarding his health condition or the circumstances in which he was found, which increases the concern surrounding his situation.

The case has raised alarm bells within the migrant community, where many Cubans travel through Mexico in vulnerable conditions, often without documents, lacking support networks, and exposed to multiple risks.

The authorities have established the number 228 319 3187, in addition to 911, to receive any information that could help locate your family.

Behind this call lies an unfinished story: that of a man far from his homeland, nameless and voiceless, who might be sought after by someone across the sea.
