The Cuban influencer Claudia Artiles posted this Sunday a video on TikTok responding to a user who accused her of not showing her son Marlon—who is three years old and has Down syndrome—receiving therapy or learning sign language.
A user commented: "I don't understand how Marlon, with his problem, doesn't receive therapy.. you never post a video about that.. and you also don't do anything to see how he learns the signs for you." Claudia quickly reacted, but her response was neither a lengthy argument nor a discussion: it was Marlon.
"According to you, I don't post videos of Marlon giving therapy, learning signs, or anything like that. Right now I'm going to respond, well, actually, I'd rather not, Marlon is going to respond, so you can see that what you're saying is nonsense," Claudia said at the beginning of the clip.
What followed was pure sweetness: the little one counted from one to five with his fingers, used gestures to say "I don’t want to," gave his mom a big hug, and said "bye" while Claudia let him go with laughter.
In the video, the influencer also clarified that Marlon has his own social media page where his entire learning process is documented, and that the boy is reducing his therapy sessions, which is a sign of progress in his development.
The followers' reaction was immediate and overwhelmingly positive. Several commentators took the opportunity to correct the language of the original comment: "What problem? The problem is the debts. But as far as I know, he has a condition, not a problem," wrote one user.
In the same vein, another pointed out: "Marlon does not have a problem, he has a medical condition, and his mother is not obligated to publish the details of his therapies. Blessings to that beautiful prince."
Other followers celebrated the child's achievements with enthusiasm. "Marlon already knows signs in Cuban, that baby is a sweetheart and super intelligent," commented another user. And more than one person melted at the moment when Marlon tells his mom that she has him "up to here" with love: "The best part of the video is that 'you have me up to here,'" wrote a fan.
Messages of direct support for Claudia were also plentiful. "Girl, don't waste your energy on people who aren't worth it. Those things about the kid are very personal, and no one has the right to ask you such intimate questions," another advised her.
It is not the first time that Claudia has faced questions about her role as a mother. Throughout 2025 and 2026 she has responded multiple times to accusations of neglect, always using the same approach: showing Marlon happy, learning, and surrounded by love.
"People don't live unless they're giving opinions on what they don't know," summarized another follower, and with that phrase, it seemed to conclude what Marlon had already demonstrated by counting to five on his fingers.
