Velito El Bufón confirmed his participation in the remix of "Un Tiempo," the song by Cuban artist Yorshi, whose voice has sparked a wave of comparisons to the late icon of Cuban reggaeton El Taiger since the track began circulating on social media.

It was Teresa Padrón who lit the fuse on May 14, when she posted a clip of the song on TikTok and social media erupted over the singer's voice.

The video, in which Yorshi can be heard singing lines like "Do you want to play with me? I'm getting tired. And you want me to tell you the truth. I don't live the movie I sing. Hey, you asked me for some time," immediately sparked comments such as "it's the same voice as Taiger" and "I thought it was José," among others from the followers.

Now, Velito El Bufón confirmed his participation in the song on Instagram with the caption "You asked me for some time" and a video in which he can be heard singing: "Why did you lie? You should have told the truth that you wanted to spend some time. And taking on my character, in my own way, my attitude in the way I treat you. And I thought it was a lie, and your mom told me one day that you get carried away."

“Un Tiempo” is a collaboration between Yorshi, Yosan, and Charaway, produced by DJ Brader, and is now available on all digital platforms. And now, Velito El Bufón will be part of the new version of the song.

Velito El Bufón, whose real name is Dariel Gutiérrez Pérez, is currently one of the most active Cuban supporting artists, with a prolific year in 2026 that includes tracks like "Cuidámela" featuring Dany Ome and Kevincito El 13 and the preview of "El Punto".

The comparison of Yorshi's voice with that of El Taiger adds a special emotional dimension to the song, given the significance of the late artist in the Cuban community.
