Thalía became one of the unexpected stars at the Start of Summer in Varadero after a video of Velito El Bufón performing at the event sparked all kinds of comments on social media.
The clip, published last Saturday by La Familia Cubana on Instagram, shows the Cuban singer on stage while, among the audience, his ex-partner was watching the performance from one side of the platform.
What caught the most attention was not Velito's performance, but Thalía's attitude. With her glasses on, calm and composed at all times, she remained serene while her ex performed several of his songs.
Many fans pointed out that Velito seemed to notice her from the very first moment. Some even commented that he looked at her before putting on his glasses when he went on stage, and that when he got off the platform to interact with the audience, he ended up dancing right in front of where she was standing.
Meanwhile, she didn't even flinch.

It was Thalía herself who confirmed the separation on February 20 through Instagram Stories, where she explained that they had been distant for months and that she had chosen to remain silent because she had just given birth.
Months later, Velito made his relationship with Paula Martínez official on the very day of Thalía's 21st birthday, a detail that also sparked numerous comments on social media.
Since then, Thalía has chosen to focus on her children and on messages of personal growth that have received the support of her followers.
Now, her mere presence in Varadero—calm, elegant, and without taking a step back—ended up generating more comments than many of the performances that night.
