The ex-partner of Cuban singer Velito El Bufón, Thalía, set Instagram ablaze this Monday with a four-word video that says it all: "in the end, I won." The post came just a day after the popular Cuban entertainment account Un Martí To Durako dropped a bombshell about the relationship between the artist and his girlfriend, Paula Martínez.
It was the account 'un_martitodurako8_live_extreme' that fueled breakup rumors with a message that caught everyone’s attention: "I THINK THIS RELATIONSHIP HAS COME TO AN END. WHAT WAS FORMED IN MADRID IN THE DRESSING ROOM STAYS THERE BUT I WILL POST IT HERE." The post did not reveal specific details about what might have happened, but the insinuation was more than enough to set social media ablaze. It garnered 3,780 likes and 111 comments in just a few hours.
The next day, Thalía appeared on stage wearing oversized sunglasses, a white cap, and a knotted blouse, filming herself from a low angle. No speeches, no explanations: just that title that sums it all up. The video surpassed 2,100 likes and left her followers speechless.
To understand the weight of that phrase, one must review what Thalía experienced in recent months. The breakup with Velito became public on February 20, 2026, just days after the birth of Thiago, their second child. She herself confirmed that they had already been “separated for a few months,” which made the situation even more painful.
What followed did not help either. Velito formalized his relationship with Paula Martínez on April 13, 2026, weeks after the birth, and in May he introduced her in Havana as "my wife." The speed of the announcement sparked a wave of criticism on social media.
But Thalía did not remain stagnant. On July 1, 2026, she introduced her new boyfriend, the Cuban music producer Dany Herrera, in a post that garnered over 12,500 likes. And just on July 21, Herrera gave her a special surprise that confirmed their relationship is serious.
Velito, for his part, is in Cuba after his European tour. According to reports from July 9, the distance had temporarily separated him from Paula, although he had concerts scheduled in Spain to shorten that gap. Now, the rumors about Un Martí To Durako point specifically to something that happened in a dressing room in Madrid...
Neither Velito nor Paula have confirmed or denied anything so far. Meanwhile, Thalía already has her response ready, and her followers couldn't agree more with her.
