Without a single word, Kylian Mbappé confirmed everything: the footballer shared a carousel of vacation photos on his Instagram account that included, for the first time, an image of Ester Expósito, making the post the most talked-about romantic gesture of the summer.
The photo of the Spanish actress shows her from behind, illuminated by a table lamp, while the couple enjoyed an outdoor screening on the deck of their luxury yacht. An intimate and nighttime scene that, within a matter of hours, garnered over 5.2 million likes and more than 26,000 comments among her 136 million followers.
But Ester's photo wasn't the only detail that sparked comments. Mbappé chose the song "Maladie" by French rapper Gospelize to accompany the carousel, whose chorus feels like an impossible-to-ignore dedication: "She has blonde hair / My baby, she's the most beautiful / She's my jewel, she's my sweet."
The rest of the carousel is pure luxury lifestyle: the footballer at the bow of a white yacht in turquoise waters, holding a plate of seafood and grinning from ear to ear; snorkeling in open waters; and posing in front of the Atzaró boutique in Ibiza, holding several women's garments on hangers, apparently helping his girlfriend choose a dress.
The post also featured an unexpected and viral moment. In Ester's photo, the projection of a movie is visible in the background. The Portuguese actress Lorena Comparato, star of the Brazilian thriller on Netflix Elize: Shadows of a Woman, recognized her own image on the screen and didn’t hesitate to comment: “It’s an honor to be on your television.” The official Netflix Brazil account also reacted to the post, further amplifying the reach of the publication.
This summer has been a dream journey for the couple: Miami, Paris, Ibiza, Barcelona, and Sardinia have all been their destinations. All of this comes after weeks of rumors and a strong statement that Ester Expósito published on July 30 on her social media, in which she warned of legal actions against those spreading false information about her private life.
