The video comes after Danay posted a sketch of her character Lola Mento Guasimita, in which she humorously and exaggeratedly announced her pregnancy to her French in-laws, referencing the Cuban supply booklet and the use of charcoal for cooking during blackouts.
That humorous content, where the mother-in-law almost fainted from shock, sparked public requests to see what had actually happened.
In the new reel, the French family receives the news with exclamations of surprise, hugs, and even teary eyes that reflect the magnitude and joy of the moment.
The actress herself described the moment like this: "Here it is, what you were all waiting for and many asked me for! The reaction of my in-laws. Thank you! I’m sure they will be wonderful grandparents and that our baby will be lucky to grow up surrounded by so much love."
The surprises on social media began when the actress publicly announced her first pregnancy from Paris, with the Eiffel Tower in the background, her partner Maxime holding the ultrasound, and she showing some knitted baby shoes. “Our greatest joy and blessing is on the way.
