The Cuban influencer La Cintumbare (Cinthya Medrano) posted a reel on Instagram this Thursday in which she acknowledged going through a tough personal time and offered a message of reassurance to her followers.
Although on this occasion he did not make a direct reference to drugs, for weeks his consistent comments about crack use have raised alarms.
"My people, I want you to know something: I'm going to get through this. I may not be in the best place right now, but little by little I will be back to the way I was before," wrote the content creator in a post on one of her alternative Instagram accounts.
"I'm going to get up, regain my joy, and come back stronger than ever. Because Cintumbare doesn't give up," he wrote.
The influencer concluded the message with a promise to her followers: "So wait for me... I will come out of this. And when I return, I will be back as myself, the one you all know."
The video arrives after several days during which it has been the focus of social media, marked by a missing persons alert issued by his own family and public warnings about his health.
The reggaeton artist Ja Rulay was one of those who sent him an open message warning that drug use “will destroy you” and urged him to seek help, thinking of his family and his son.
La Cintumbare responded to criticisms regarding her significant weight loss, stating that she had lost weight of her own volition to get "fit."
Days later, her sister Maura issued a public alert revealing that they had not heard from Cinthya for two days and that her Instagram account had vanished.
The report sparked alarm among her followers, but La Cintumbare reappeared that same day on TikTok to clarify that she was fine, that she was at the home of a man she calls "Jíbaro," and that she had sold her Instagram account to settle a debt.
La Cintumbare has accumulated a history of controversies since she was deported to Cuba in February 2025 by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) after failing to appear at an immigration hearing in October 2023, which resulted in a deportation order issued in her absence.
Since her return to the island, she has remained very active on social media, generating controversy and accumulating both followers and detractors.
