PSOE and Vox were the two options that gathered the most votes in an open consultation by CiberCuba aimed at Cubans with Spanish nationality and published simultaneously on X, Facebook, and the media's WhatsApp channel.

The question posed to the audience was direct: “If you are Cuban and have Spanish nationality, which party do you plan to vote for in the general elections on November 29?”

At the time of closing this note, the three surveys had accumulated 1,225 responses. The polls remain active, so the figures may change after the publication of this article.

When participating in a question specifically asked of Cubans with Spanish nationality, those who responded identified themselves as part of that group. CiberCuba did not carry out a documentary verification of Spanish nationality or voter registration for each participant.

PSOE and Vox account for the majority of the responses

The arithmetic sum of the votes recorded on the three platforms placed the PSOE in first position with 396 responses, equivalent to 32.3% of the total.

Vox appeared immediately after with 350 votes, 28.6%, while the Partido Popular (PP) gathered 177 responses, 14.4%.

  • PSOE: 396 votes (32.3%).

  • Vox: 350 votes (28.6%).

  • Popular Party (PP): 177 votes (14.4%).

  • I do not plan to vote: 158 votes (12.9%).

  • I haven't decided yet: 74 votes (6.0%).

  • Other party: 33 votes (2.7%).

  • Total: 21 votes (1.7%).

  • Podemos: 16 votes (1.3%).

This aggregated result should be interpreted with caution. It is not a demographic survey nor a representative sample of the entire group of Cubans with Spanish citizenship, but rather a voluntary consultation conducted among the audiences of CiberCuba on three different platforms.

WhatsApp accounts for seven out of ten responses

The main difference among platforms appears in WhatsApp. Of the 1,225 responses recorded, 859 came from the CiberCuba channel on that platform, approximately 70.1% of the total.

Additionally, according to audience data from the CiberCuba channel, around 99% of its members are located in Cuba. For this reason, the WhatsApp result primarily reflects the participation of an audience based on the island, although the survey was specifically aimed at those who claimed to have Spanish nationality.

On WhatsApp, the results at the time of this report were:

  • PSOE: 343 votes (39.9%).

  • I don't plan to vote: 156 votes (18.2%).

  • Vox: 126 votes (14.7%).

  • Popular Party (PP): 113 votes (13.2%).

  • I haven't decided yet: 68 votes (7.9%).

  • Another party: 21 votes (2.4%).

  • Summary: 16 votes (1.9%).

  • Podemos: 16 votes (1.9%).

Vox leads the survey significantly in X

The situation was different in X, where 196 votes had been recorded.

Vox accounted for 66.3% of the responses, followed by the PP with 16.8% and the PSOE with 10.7%.

  • Vox: 130 votes (66.3%).

  • People's Party (PP): 33 votes (16.8%).

  • PSOE: 21 votes (10.7%).

  • Another party: 12 votes (6.1%).

In this case, there is an important methodological difference: X only allows four options in its surveys, which is why alternatives such as Sumar, Podemos, "I haven't decided yet," or "I don't plan to vote" could not be included.

The poll published by CiberCuba on X is still available and open.

Vox also comes in first on Facebook

On Facebook, there were 170 votes recorded at the time of the data cutoff.

Vox also appeared in first position there, with 94 responses and a 55.3% calculated based on the total votes registered.

  • Vox: 94 votes (55.3%).

  • PSOE: 32 votes (18.8%).

  • Popular Party (PP): 31 votes (18.2%).

  • I still haven't decided: 6 votes (3.5%).

  • Summary: 5 votes (2.9%).

  • I do not plan to vote: 2 votes (1.2%).

  • We can: 0 votes.

  • Other party: 0 votes.

To standardize the results across platforms, the percentages used by CiberCuba were calculated based on the exact number of votes recorded for each option.

The survey published on Facebook is still active.

Three platforms with different audience profiles

The differences are significant. Vox clearly leads the responses collected on X and Facebook, while the PSOE receives its strongest support on WhatsApp.

That last result has a decisive weight on the aggregate, as WhatsApp accounts for more than seven out of ten responses recorded.

Therefore, the combined results should not be interpreted as an electoral projection regarding all Cubans with Spanish nationality, nor as a forecast for the elections on November 29.

The consultations were open, voluntary, and without random sampling. Not all provided exactly the same responses, due to the inherent limitations of each platform.

General elections on November 29

Spain will hold general elections on the upcoming Sunday, November 29, 2026, following the early dissolution of the Congress of Deputies and the Senate.

CiberCuba reported on the early elections announced by Pedro Sánchez and the main dates of the new political calendar.

The call is of particular interest to the Cuban community due to the number of citizens of Cuban origin who hold Spanish nationality or have recently obtained it.

CiberCuba also published a guide on how to vote from Cuba in the elections on November 29, with information about the Electoral Census of Absent Residents (CERA) and the situation of those who obtained citizenship through the Law of Democratic Memory.

The electoral situation of some beneficiaries of the so-called Grandchildren's Law remains at the center of a political and judicial dispute in Spain. CiberCuba explained this Tuesday the latest developments related to this regulation and its potential impact on Cuban voters.

The consultations remain open

The data published in this article corresponds exclusively to the cut made at the time this note was closed.

The three polls remain open on X, Facebook, and WhatsApp, so the percentages and the total number of responses may change as new users participate.
