A Cuban woman was involved in a controversial confrontation with a man riding a horse on a road in Homestead, in South Miami-Dade. The argument, characterized by insults and threats of deportation, ended with the intervention of a police officer who reprimanded the driver instead of penalizing the rider.

The incident was reported by the Cuban content creator Jorge Miyar, known as El Gussi, who explained that the man who was threatened with a call to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is a naturalized American citizen.

According to his account, it was the rider himself who called the police after the woman allegedly harassed him for several minutes.

“This woman was harassing him for minutes and even almost threw the truck on top of him,” reported El Gussi.

"You're not in Cuba! They should deport all of you."

In the images, the woman can be heard shouting from her truck: “You’re a pig... You’re not in Cuba! They should deport all of you”, and adding more insults and swear words.

El Gussi explained that the incident occurred in an area where farms and horse owners are abundant, making it common to see riders on the roads.

The arrival of the police took an unexpected turn in the situation. The officer questioned the woman about the alleged offense committed by the man.

“Which law are you violating? If you know so much, tell me exactly what you are violating,” the officer asked him, according to the conversation captured in the video.

The police officer also ordered him to stop following the rider and announced that he would position his patrol car behind the truck to prevent him from continuing the chase.

El Gussi rejects the accusations of animal cruelty

The content creator also responded to the arguments regarding an alleged mistreatment of the horse for walking on the asphalt.

“There is absolutely no animal cruelty in taking your horse for a walk in public”, he stated.

He clarified that animal abuse can occur when horses are subjected to excessive loads, exhausting workdays, or a lack of food and water, but he believed that this was not the case.

In Florida, horseback riding on public roads is not generally prohibited.

Statute 316.073 regulates the circulation of people driving animals, while 316.0825 requires caution from drivers approaching riders.

Reaction on social media

The video went viral and sparked numerous criticisms against the woman, particularly for her threats of deportation against another Cuban.

"A Cuban Karen, the Teté Comité," wrote one user; while another mocked, "She was the president of the CDR, I have no proof, but I have no doubts," referring to the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution.

Others questioned the host's attitude towards people from her own community.

“What happens is that she is Cuban because of Trump, so now she believes she is American,” commented an internet user.

The police performance also received praise. “What a perfect police officer! I love it. She is wasting his time, and he is angry,” commented a user.

El Gussi was particularly critical of the woman, whom he called a "magasapinda trompista" for starting to talk about deportations and offending the rider "without having the slightest idea."

The influencer concluded that the host ended up "leaving with her tail between her legs," and asked his followers to spread the images: "I ask everyone watching this video to make her famous."

Although the exact date of the incident is unknown, the images continue to circulate on social media and are sparking debate about the threats of deportation and the woman's behavior.
