A fight between several men, which apparently took place at a dock in South Florida, was captured on video and has gone viral on social media, sparking a wave of comments ranging from mockery to criticism of the behavior of those involved.
The images, circulated in recent hours by Univision Miami, show several men fighting on both a boat and a ramp leading to the dock.
In the midst of the altercation, one of the participants shouts with a strong Cuban accent: “I’m a tank!”, a phrase that quickly became a subject of jokes among internet users.
The video allows for the identification of at least half a dozen men involved in the brawl, while other individuals watch the scene from the vicinity of the dock.
One of the most striking moments occurs when a man who seemingly tried to join the fray is thrown into the water by another participant. Far from giving up, he managed to climb out and return to the site of the fight.
Until now, the exact date of the incident is unknown, as well as the circumstances that triggered the confrontation
According to the information circulated, the Police stated that they have no reports related to the incident.
The identities and nationalities of those involved have also not been confirmed.
"He says he's a tank and doesn't even know how to throw punches": the mockery on social media
The release of the video sparked a wave of comments on social media, where humor and irony dominated many of the reactions.
One of the main targets of the jokes was the man who proclaimed himself a "tank" in the midst of the fight.
"He says he's a tank and doesn't even know how to throw punches", wrote one user, while another compared the confrontation to a childish fight: "A pillow fight does more damage than this 'fight'."
The occurrences didn't end there. "These are not fishermen, they are boxers," joked a social media user.
Others dubbed the scene “The Cholesterol War” or made references to UFC fights.
The episode of the man who ended up in the water also sparked the creativity of the commentators.
“And Aquaman jumped out of the water, with some issues with his outfit, but he managed to reach the fight,” wrote a user, referring to the participant's difficulties in rejoining the confrontation.
Criticism of the behavior of those involved and debate on immigration
Beyond the jokes, the images sparked outrage and ignited a debate about the behavior of some Latino immigrants in the United States.
Numerous users assumed that the protagonists were Cuban, despite the fact that there is no confirmation of their nationality.
“Cubans being Cubans,” “Imported pure Cuban vibes,” and “Cuba at home, man” were some of the expressions that appeared in the comments.
Other internet users questioned the consequences that this type of behavior may have on the image of the Latino community.
"This is what makes Latinos look bad in the United States," lamented a user.
"What a horror, the lack of education and empathy among people! Definitely, culture is everything," expressed another.
The discussion even extended to immigration issues, with remarks mentioning the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and calling for deportations.
A woman who identified herself as Cuban called for respect for U.S. laws: “We are not in our countries, where laws are not enforced; here they are enforced. Be very careful, because later comes regret.”
Alcohol involved? Speculations about the origin of the fight
The causes of the confrontation remain unknown, although some users speculated that excessive alcohol consumption may have contributed to what happened.
“This is the problem of going out to enjoy oneself and overindulging in drinks while operating boats,” commented an internet user, who suggested implementing breathalyzer tests at the docks.
However, there is no information confirming that those involved were under the influence of alcohol.
There were also those who downplayed the seriousness of the scene and turned to humor to describe it.
"The handsome guys from Florida, and soon they're all drinking beer together," commented a user.
For now, the video continues to circulate on social media without any official details about the origin of the fight or its possible consequences.
The recording adds to other viral fight videos in South Florida that have sparked controversy on social media, where scenes of violence often trigger a mix of mockery, outrage, and discussions about coexistence and behavior in public spaces.
