Susana Pérez López is one of the most important Cuban actresses of all time. She was born on May 25, 1952, in Marianao, Havana, Cuba.

Susana graduated from the ICR School of Acting in 1971 and debuted as a radio announcer and then as a substitute actress on Cuban Television in 1972, at which point she began an unstoppable career that spans nearly 50 years. During this time, she has ventured not only as a dramatic actress but also in humorous programs, children's and youth spaces, radio series, teleplays, stories, and telefilms. She has also done voiceovers for film and television. She has worked as a producer in Cuba and Bolivia and has performed pedagogical work as an Adjunct Professor and Acting Instructor at the Higher Institute of Art in Havana, as well as teaching at the University of Santo Tomás in La Paz, Bolivia.
As a theater actress, she has left us with masterful performances in Cecilia Valdés, Stories from a Showcase, and Santa Camila of Old Havana, among many others.

In 2008, he emigrated to Miami, where he has continued to reap successes and has reunited with a part of his audience and many colleagues with whom he has continued to share projects.
In 2015, he appears, alongside his son Roberto San Martín and Reinaldo Miravalles in the short film THE EMPTY HOUSE, inspired by one of the stories from the book of tales “A Cuban Tells” by Lilo Vilaplana.
In October 2016, she returned to Havana alongside other actresses as part of the cast of one of the plays premiered during the 16th Festival de Teatro de La Habana, Volver a La Habana, by Raquel Carrió. The play premiered at the Teatro Buendía to a full house, with people sitting on the floor and a large crowd waiting outside in vain to be able to enter.
In 2016, they reunited in Miami on Carlucho's show El Happy Hour with part of the cast of the popular soap opera "Sol de Batey." That same year, she launched her YouTube channel "La Pérez con Mayúsculas."
In January 2020, Susana Pérez, along with Alberto Pujol and Roberto San Martín, began recording the short film Clave in Tampa, directed by fellow Cuban Alex Argilés.
Pérez has been an advertising image for the My Cosmetic Surgery clinic for ten years.
In July 2020, Susana voiced a video for Donald Trump's electoral campaign aimed at attracting the Cuban vote, which generated harsh criticism from a state journalist on the island who referred to her as an "ex-Cuban." In response to such statements, the actress received unanimous support from her fellow professionals and all her followers both on and off the island.
