Pinar del Río receiver Lorenzo Quintana He continues to demonstrate his extensive aura as a hitter and yesterday afternoon he recorded one of the best days since he arrived in professional baseball in the United States.

Quintana, 30 years old, and who has not had all the necessary game, hit his 7th and 8th home runs (in Double-A) with five RBIs.

The last one: it was a grand slam in the 9th inning that left his rivals lying on the field.

The man from Pinar del Río did not like being demoted to Double-A and since his demotion he has hit over .400 with three homers and 11 RBIs.

Perhaps Quintana will not reach the Major Leagues as he had planned since he left Cuba and his beloved Pinar del Río. The Houston Astros have prioritized other catchers within the farm system.

However, the boy from La Palma has shown that he is a respectable hitter. In 2019, Quintana hit .318 with 10 home runs and 34 RBIs.
