Limay raises more than 42 thousand pesos and 1,000 MLC to furnish the house of the pianist from Guanabacoa

The total money collected so far would be equivalent to about 316 thousand pesos in national currency if the MLC were changed to the 250 CUP per unit at which informal sales in Cuba are valued on average.

"They want to buy a refrigerator, a queen pot, a rice cooker, a television, two fans, a dining room set, a living room set, a bed with its mattress, three cold light lamps and 25 meters of cable, three switches and four outlets," Limay explained.
